Where your data lives
Your menus, profile, weight and shopping list are written first to your browser's local storage, on your device — that is what lets the app work offline. Because access is tied to an account, the same data is also stored on our servers (hosted by Supabase, in the European Union) so it follows you from one device to another. It is reachable by you alone: a row-level security rule stops any account from reading another's data.
What we collect
Your email address, to send your sign-in link and attach your purchase to your account. The information you enter yourself: age, height, weight, activity level, goal, food preferences, and the menus that follow from them. Nothing else. No advertising, no resale, no sharing with third parties for commercial purposes. Payment is handled by Stripe, which alone receives your card details: we never see or store them — we only record that your account has paid.
Cookies and analytics
The app sets a single technical cookie to remember your language. No advertising cookies, no profiling, no resale, and no outside analytics tool: we count for ourselves, on our own servers. To know how many people visit and where they stop, each visit gets a random identifier that lives in the tab and disappears when you close it — it links the pages of one visit, never two visits to each other, and is attached to no account. We record the page, the device type, the site you came from and the language. Never your IP address, never what you enter in the app.
Deleting your data
You can export or permanently erase this device's data at any time from the Profile screen. To also delete your account and the data synced to our servers, write to hello@getsahtek.com: we action it within 30 days.
Health and liability
Nutritional values are computed from public food composition tables and are indicative only. They are not medical advice. Consult a doctor or dietitian if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are on treatment.
